Another Wednesday meaning its time to cover another wedding topic! Today I am going to talk all about my bridesmaid dresses from Birdy Grey!
There were a few factors that were important to me when selecting the dresses my bridesmaids would wear and most if it was based off my previous experience as a bridesmaid myself! First feature that was important was price. I did not want to ask my friends to spend a ton of money on a dress that in reality they would probably only wear once or maybe another time at a formal event. So I tried to only look at dresses that were under $150.
The other factor that was important to me was of course what the dress actually looked like. I wanted to choose a color and style that not only I loved but my bridesmaids felt comfortable and confident in as well. I knew I wanted a darker, deeper color since my wedding was in the winter and also wanted to make sure the style/color of the dress would be complimentary to everyone’s figure and skin tone.
For all these reasons and more, Birdy Grey was the perfect fit for my bridesmaid dresses. All their dresses are under $100 ( I believe they are all actually $99) and they have TONS of colors/styles to choose from. I ordered swatches of the colors I was considering to see what they looked like in person/on a few of my friends. I ended up selecting the Emerald color. Next, I wanted to find a style that would make each of my bridesmaids feel confident and beautiful. I ended up selecting the Devin Convertible Dress, because I loved the off the shoulder vibe and that there were also supportive straps for anyone who needed extra support for the ladies. For sizing reference, all the girls said the dresses run true to size.
The girls looked absolutely stunning in their dresses and I could not have been happier with how the dresses looked standing all together at the alter/in pictures. I highly recommend using Birdy Grey!
