One of the hardest decisions to make for your wedding day is your dress! I personally went into it with an open mind and tried on all the dresses I thought I could possibly like. I knew that I did not want anything with a big skirt and wanted something a bit more form fitting, but also something that wasn’t trendy. Timeless and elegant was what I was going for.
I was very lucky and only tried on dresses at two boutiques. Both were wonderful stores and I highly recommend them to anyone local. The first boutique I visited was The Blushing Bride in Frisco. Their dresses were one of a kind and gorgeous. Here are a few below that I tried on:
The last store I tried on dresses at was the winner: Leann’s Bridal in McKinney. Besides how gorgeous their dresses were, their customer service was amazing and the location held a very special place in my heart because it was so close to home. I had my mom, MIL, and a few of my bridesmaids with me and it was such a fun experience. I tried on a handful of dresses, but the first dress I tried on was the one.
The lace detail and the deep back was what sold me. Bonus: it was extra glam with the shimmer details. The designer of my dress is Yumi Katsura. I could not have loved my dress more.
